What kind of paint or finishes do you use?

Our paints and finishes are furniture grade, not wall paint. They have urethane finish coats and give you a smooth renewed finish. If you already have the paint you would like us to use on your piece we are happy to discuss that.

Can you do any color or finish?

For the most part yes. We can match any paint color you bring to us in our furniture paint mix. We can also do chalk, milk or other paint finishes if you desire. When staining or working with wood, the finish and color will vary due to the wood we are working with.

Do you repair furniture?

At House A Home we can repair small damage to items but we do not build furniture. Dings, dents and even sometimes missing pieces can be repaired. At the time of estimate we will discuss any repairs and during the refinishing you will be contacted if anything comes up that was not seen before we move forward.

Where is the work done on my furniture?

Your furniture will be refinished at our workshop in Sandy, Utah. Items will need to be dropped off on the appointed day scheduled and picked up on the finish date from this location. *Pick up and Drop off at your home can be arranged for a fee.

Do you offer pick up and deliver?

We do offer pick up and delivery but only on select jobs and within a reasonable distance from our shop in Sandy. There is a charge for this service that can be discussed upon estimate.

Do you offer a Guarantee or warranty on your work?

We offer education on how to care for you piece after the work is completed. We guarantee any defects from our original finish work for 6 months, not any wear and tare from everyday use.
